History can be suppressed, but it cannot be erased. 8964.photos documents the 1989 Beijing student movement and the events of June 4 through archival photography.
在确保画面细节准确、可溯源的前提下，我们审慎使用 AI 技术提升老照片的清晰度，并进行色彩还原，以更真实地呈现历史现场。
Where detail accuracy can be verified, we use AI with restraint to improve clarity and restore color in aged photographs—presenting the historical record closer to how it was seen, not how it was stylized.
